I met Sarah Radford through Working Women of Tampa Bay and immediately knew she was a Gem! Then I found out she designs her own Jewelry line apprpriately named Chic Gems and invited her to set up at Heather's Day Spa's Open House. I was thrilled when Sarah gave me a pair of her Beautiful Jade Earrings as she seemed to know that I Love green! Sarah is one of the most interesting women I know, so I wasn't surprised when I saw her jewelry designs ranged from dainty, to classy, to modern, to fun and funky. I can't think of an event I'm going to attend where one of Sarah's pieces won't be going with me.
Whenever I'm out networking (or even at the grocery store) people ask "Where did you get that necklace!" If I'm feeling sassy I'll tell them it was done by my jewelry designer, then I wait for them to react (because now they think it's over the moon expensive) and then I tell them the price. Jaws always drop. I keep a few of Sarah's cards on me at all times because I think if I didn't tell where I got my pieces, I might get attacked for them!
The best part is that these are pieces I can wear everyday. I never used to be a "jewelry person" but the Chic Gems Etc. jewelry has made me a daily jewelry wearer. They match t-shirts and cocktail dresses. How can you say no when you have something so pretty and wearable in your jewelry box?!

Oh my, oh my, oh my I'm still speechless after receiving my beautiful bracelet from Chic Gems, Etc. I ordered a bracelet with smoky glass pearls & assumed it would be pretty, but just another accessory. Boy was I wrong!!
The color of the glass pearls is outstanding. Quite honestly, it's something I haven't really seen before. I seems to change colors & go with whatever outfit you have one (yes, I put the bracelet on & then ripped through my favorite outfits to see if it would work-fyi: it did...with all of them!). The pieces are crafted here in the Chi & what Chicagoan doesn't want to support local artists, hmm? I can't wait to wear the bracelet out & receive the numerous compliments I am bound to get. Unfortunately, I have to give it to my mom for Christmas, buuut I think I'll give it a test run :)
Sidenote: Sarah, the designer & owner of Chic Gems, physically drove to my building & dropped the bracelet off after a small little mix-up. If that isn't superb customer service, I don't know what is!!

I bought one of Sarah's beautiful bracelets and matching necklaces in a store. Unfortunately one night the bracelet broke. Luckily I was able to find all of the beads.
